🔍 Overview: As an Automotive Polisher, your main role is to rectify paint imperfections on vehicle parts using a machine-operated polisher. You’ll need a sharp eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of polishing processes to ensure top-notch finishes. Collaboration with the paint department and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
👨💼 Responsibilities:
- Use a machine-operated polisher to rectify paint imperfections on vehicle parts.
- Maintain high aesthetic standards and prepare surfaces meticulously.
- Collaborate with the paint department to achieve quality finishes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
- Accurately complete documentation and offer suggestions for process improvements when needed.
📚 Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of quality improvement and continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in automotive polishing and surface correction.
- Knowledge of paint thickness measurements and finishes.
- Automotive trade certificate in machine polishing or vehicle detailing is preferred. 🎓
