Job Description
Job Title: General Operative
Location: Evesham
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – morning shift
As a General Operative in Evesham, your primary responsibility will be to assist with various tasks within the designated work area. You will work under the supervision of a team leader or supervisor and collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general duties such as packing, sorting, and labelling products according to the provided guidelines.
- Operate machinery or equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment.
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as required to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing materials or products.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counting and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, including clearing any hazards or obstacles.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying objects.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Punctuality and reliability to ensure consistent attendance and adherence to work schedules.
