Location – City Centre
Rate of pay – £12.59 per hour rising to £14.13 as of week 13
Hours of Work – 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min breaks
Holidays – Up to 33 days per year pro rata to shift pattern
Duration – Temporary Ongoing
As a street cleaner, you’ll play a crucial role in preserving the city’s streets and picturesque landscapes.
You will become a part of a close-knit group of dedicated individuals who share your passion for creating a clean and inviting environment for residents and visitors alike.
Your hard work will be seen and appreciated by thousands as you help maintain the cleanliness and appeal of some of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks.

Full induction and training will be provided along with PPE.
Responsibilities:
Sweep and clean streets and public areas using the necessary equipment and tools provided.
Collect and dispose of litter to ensure a pristine appearance.
Collaborate with team members to tackle special projects and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of Edinburgh.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting pedestrians and answering their questions when needed.

Honest, punctual candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in order to progress within the company.
You will be working in the public eye around areas with high profile clients such as councillors, MPs etc therefore you must be well presented and carrying out duties professionally at all times.
