Job Description
Carehome Cook
Hours – Monday – Sunday between the hours of 0730 – 19.00
Adhoc shifts, pick when you work!
Duration – Temp ongoing
Location – Various locations in Edinburgh
Pay – £12.81 per hour
You will be:
– Cooking a full range of meals and recipes
– Completing paperwork (i.e. recording temperatures, allergen paperwork, etc)
– Completing audits of the service (such as cleaning schedules)
– Receiving deliveries
– Stock rotation
– Storing food and labelling it appropriately
– Controlling hygiene within the kitchen
– Supporting with set up and assisting with service
– Cash handling
– Supporting with any other tasks as required
You must have previous cook experience.
You will be required to apply for a PVG at a cost of £59 (£18 for an update) for children.
