General Operative
Location: Corby
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for permanent position)
Salary: £12 per hour (reassessed upon becoming permanent)
Job Description:
We are seeking a physically fit and hardworking General Operative to join our team. As a General Operative, you will be involved in various manual tasks and play a crucial role in our production process. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a dynamic work environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual labour tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize hand tools, including tape measures, rivet guns, hot air guns, and scissors.
- Basic sewing skills are required.
- Ability to read CAD drawings is a plus but not essential.
- Prior experience with RF welders is considered a bonus.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: Available (flexibility required based on workload)
Breaks:
- Two 15-minute paid breaks during the workday.
- Minimum unpaid break as required by law.
Temporary to Permanent:
- This position offers the opportunity for temporary-to-permanent employment for at least one person.
Training:
- Full training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role.
