Job Description
Are you an experienced Kitchen Porter looking for a brand-new and exciting opportunity? Our client, a luxury independent hotel in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, is seeking a hard-working and resourceful Kitchen Porter to join their back of house team. This beautiful hotel, with its stunning grounds, offers elegance and a high standard of service to its clientele.
As a Kitchen Porter, your main responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen areas and utensils. You will be working closely with the back of house team to ensure a smooth service, operating the dishwasher, and deep cleaning equipment and the back of house area. Other duties will include emptying bins and recycling, putting away deliveries, and cleaning staff common areas. It is essential that you have a good knowledge of correct hygiene and sanitation protocols.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter, preferably in a hotel kitchen. You should also possess great teamwork skills and be personable. Our client offers many benefits to their employees, including gratuities paid every two months, discounts on rooms, food and beverages, and beauty treatments, as well as 28 days annual leave and an extra day off on your birthday after six months of service.
Please note that due to the location of the hotel, the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transportation. Off-site staff accommodation is available at £60 per week, including bills (food and internet not provided).
