Job Description
My client is currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team in Twickenham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role, offering a salary of £26,325 per annum. The company is a well-established and growing business in the retail industry.
As a Sales Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service that exceeds all customer expectations. This includes approaching customers in a courteous and efficient manner, dealing with their orders and queries, and offering expert advice and alternative product suggestions based on your comprehensive product knowledge. You will also be responsible for ensuring all deliveries are checked accurately and promptly, resolving any customer issues or inquiries, and maintaining clear and precise paperwork for easy follow-up by colleagues.
In addition, you will be responsible for creating effective and up-to-date displays in the showroom, ensuring that all products are clearly coded, priced, and well presented. You will also need to process specific customer requirements efficiently and meet delivery promises.
The working hours for this role are from 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of working on Sundays in the future from 10.00 to 16.00.
